catch sbd red-handed – to catch someone while he/she was doing something wrong

ex. Timmy tried to get into the cookie jar again, but I caught him red-handed.

ex. Turn the volume down, it’s too loud!

let sbd’s guard down – to stop being too cautious against trouble or danger

ex. Wild animals don’t usually let their guard down when they see people.

ex. Don’t let your guard down even when you’re tired during the match.

cool off – to calm down from being angry

ex. Give him some time to cool off before the match.

ex. Stop yelling and go to your room and cool off!

interrupt – to stop someone doing what they’re doing

ex. She hates it when everyone keeps interrupting her while she prepares for the performance.

One day, Mr Bean went to the art museum to enjoy the pictures. Suddenly, he noticed that a thief was going to take a picture away so Mr Bean decided to follow him by car. After that, the thief’s car bumped against a waiter who is taking an ice cream. As a result, the ice cream dropped on the car window so the thief couldn’t see anything. In the end, his car crashed against the wall and Mr Bean took the picture back to the museum successfully and the police caught the thief. Mr Bean was very pleased.

One day, Mr Bean went to the art museum to enjoy the paintings. Suddenly, he noticed that a thief was going to take/steal a painting away so Mr Bean decided to follow him by car. After that, the thief’s car hit a waiter who is holding an ice cream. As a result, the ice cream dropped on the car window so the thief couldn’t see anything. In the end, his car crashed against the wall and Mr Bean took the painting back to the museum successfully and the police caught the thief. Mr Bean was very pleased.
