how close should we be with our colleagues? should we be friends with them?

In my last job, I never share my personal life with my colleagues, because most of them were women. Most of them are very gossip, they like stalk. I think their personality is a bit weird. They don’t like someone post other people’s happy life, because managers are too busy to go on a trip.

In my current job, I start share my personal life to my colleagues and I go out with her to visit temples and art museums. I think we are have the same values. She doesn’t want to marry, she’s a very big fans of Xukai and WangYiBo. Every week, she visits to HengDian. Last week, she went to ZhongShan to see him. The advantage is I don’t feel alone at work, I can share my troubles at work, she can suggest something about work. The disadvantage is if I share my personal life, I worry that she will talk to other people.
