Vocabulary

command – to give an order like ‘sit’

ex. The dog trainer taught my dog a few commands.

ear infection – like a disease which is caused by bacteria or a virus

hold sth/him in place – to place in a fixed position

cheeky – slightly rude, but in a funny way

skull – head bone

mixed breed – to have one or more different breeds mixed together

breeder – a person who is responsible for producing and selling dogs

bite -> bit (past tense) 

We take our dog back – much better.

We took/brought our dog back home – he is much better/more well-behaved.

Sit is he know from before.

He knows ‘sit’ from before

That’s the only time he don’t listen to us.

That’s the only time when he doesn’t listen to us.

The hot weather will make it get worse.
