Do you think a digital currency will bring more benefits or problems in the future?
In China, everyone living in the convinces of digital currency right now. But I think thatās will bring more problems in the future.
First of all, digital currency impacted everything in normal life, shopping, traffic and living. No one brings cash anymore. All you need is your phone.
But what happens to the old people? Those people couldnāt use to deal with the internet and smartphone. I saw some people working in the restaurant, they donāt want to provide any service to old people. If anyone wants to order or check out, must need to use the smartphone to scan a QR code.
Second of all, teenagers growing up with digital currency, donāt have the definition of money. For them money just a number on the phone.
Also, I donāt think we have any censorship for digital currency right now. Thatās will be a big problem for teenagers.
If they have anything want to buy, then they just loan from Alipay or other online organizations, without any censorship. Teenagers online loan issues are becoming a serious problem in those few years.
At last, I also concern about personal information security problems. If the government can control the internet including digital currency, that means they can control everything from you.
Revised:Ā
In China, everyone isĀ living in the convenience of theĀ digital currency right now. But I think thisĀ will bring more problems in the future.Ā First/Firstly, digital currency impacts everything in daily/everydayĀ life including shopping, traffic and living. No one carriesĀ cash any more- all you need is your phone.
But what happens to the old people? Those people that aren’tĀ used to dealing with the internet and smartphones. I saw some people working in the restaurant, andĀ they donāt want to provide any service to old people. If anyone wants to order or check out, theyĀ must use the smartphone to scan a QR code.
Second of all, teenagers that grow up with digital currency, donāt have anyĀ conceptĀ of money. For them, money isĀ just a number on the phone.
Also, I donāt think we have any limitationsĀ for usingĀ digital currency right now. ThatĀ is problematicĀ for teenagers.
If they have anything theyĀ want to buy, then they just take aĀ loan from Alipay or other online organizations, without any limitations/requirements. Teenagers borrowing loans onlineĀ is a major issueĀ that isĀ becoming a serious problem in these few years.
At last, I amĀ also concerned of/withĀ private data/information security. If the government can control the internet including digital currency, that means they can control everything from you.
