ex. In order to survive, we need 1) Food 2) Air 3) Water 4) Shelter = Apartment, Clothes
ex. We need protection from the sun, so you can wear clothes or be inside for shelter.
ex. Umbrella is shelter from the rain. Raincoat is a shelter from the rain.
pack my things —> to put what you need in your suitcase/luggage
ex. Tonight or tomorrow I will pack my things for Fiji.

protests = manifestations
hospitable – to take care of people 好客
ex. When people take care of you, they are being hospitable. In some countries, they are more hospitable.
internship – “Stage” / 实习
ex. I did an broadcasting internship in France.
a child, many children (single and many) —> L’enfant and les enfants
ex. They have no child / children… They don’t have any children.
winding road – the road goes back and forth alot, such as around a mountain
ex. The small streets of Shanghai are winding, they have many turns.
