HWK Searching:
After I browsed the Internet, I chose Lord Byng Secondary School which is located on the west side of Vancouver, British Columbia, as my preferred school. It was named in honour of The Lord Byng of Vimy, a hero in the Battle of Vimy Ridge. Lord Byng Secondary School is the top school in Vancouver which shows its great reputation / that it has a great reputation. It’s famous for Byng Art Mini School, the program teaches academic art include Literary Arts, Media Arts, and Choir. The students can create or learn these with their own imaginations based on the experience though the high school journey. Also, Lord Byng Secondary School has been focusing on this program for many years to maintain strong academic achievement which for me is a key factor in my decision to join this program. Although it may be additional work for students, the program depends on both students’ interests in curricular and extracurricular activities. That’s the education system I’m looking for – one which can allow students to get deeper knowledge in different areas / fields. In addition, this school has sport teams and a music department to train students to improve themselves.
I’m really looking forward to receiving new ideas and enriched information on this high school!
