Writing exercise

Today I came across a Wechat message on a man finding his net closed by his net operator because he used vpn at home and was detected by police. He had to go to the police station to write a declaration on never using vpn again in order to make his net operator reopen his net. I was shocked by this message because I just considered to buy a vpn these days and I must drop this idea for now. In another article on Vox, it is said that Whatsapp was blocked by Chinese government a few days ago for no reason. Which is worse, netizens can’t watch foreign TV series on some video web any more. Now we have been totally isolated from the world by the government and we are controlled to read and see what government wants us to, which is too bad. Maybe the government tries to keep the society stable before the 19th National Congress by being more restrictive. I wish the situation could get better after the 19th National Congress is over.
