Modern lifestyles mean that many parents have little time for their children. Many children suffer because they do not get as much attention from their parents as children did in the past.

Today, modern lifestyles affect to every family. Numerous parents, as a result, spend their time on diverse things rather than care of their children. I am of the view that children do not get as much attention from their parents as children did in the past, which has a dtrimental effect on them as a whole.
To begin with, Parents have no time for their children due to busy schedule. Parents are expected to believe that if they earn more, then comes the happier life. Therefore, parents work much longer hours than they did in the past. However, what parents don’t understand is that the materialistic life is unable to replace their attention to children.
Furthermore, as a result of acquiring an education, children come into contact with teachers who naturally have to explain why some of their students are failing. What teachers come up with are frequent stories of parents who are simply too busy for their children. And if children are not supervised by their parents, they will often underperform at school. However, academic failure is nothing new even when one or both parents are at home. If children are neglected by their parents, they will suffer.
In conclusion, children probably suffered more in the past, which is harmful to both their life and study. If parents are not capable of taking responsibilities of their children, the repercussion may be that children lack what they need most in their childhood as well as underperform in academic areas.
