VIP Class Notes (Jesse)

Speaking exercise

my aunty came to sh this week and we met each other at a hotpot restaurant which i like very much. we went to the restaurant because the time we decided to meet is not at the peak hour so we decided to go there. I meet with my aunty maybe once a quarter. Sometimes she will invite me to ningbo for a weekend but mostly she will come to shanghai to catch up. she runs her own trade company selling wine and some sea food which is smooth and stable. She has long term business partners so she doesn’t need to take too much effort on his business. Her company is not very big but i think it’s quite good for her, she has something to do but is not too busy.

She runs her own trade company selling wine and some seafood which has been smooth and stable since the company was established by her husband many years ago. She has long term business partners so she doesn’t need to put too much effort into her / their business. Her company is not very big but i think it’s quite good for her, because / since / due to the fact that she has something to do but is not too busy.
