Grammar

  1. Question: How was your week? (The idea of this question is to receive a few details about your daily life during the week)
    Student’s answer: Pretty good (This answer is plain, it has no details).

I did 5 or 6 people’s anesthesia every day because we have 200 surgeries every day >  It was ok. I had a lot of work at the hospital. Where I work, we have around 200 surgeries per day, so I gave general anesthesia to around 5 or 6 people per day. 

Question: What behavior do you think is best? Taking risks and challenges kind of behavior or the conservative type?
Provide details and examples about your answer, you have 30 seconds to prep and 45 seconds to answer.

Note: Avoid clearing your throat unless you absolutely have to do so.

  1. People that like taking risks is better ~ this statement is focused on people’s qualities and the question is specifically asking about behavior> I believe that taking risks and new challenges is better than being conservative.
  2. Through some risks and new things you will get new knowledge~ Some quantity of unknown things: coffee, sugar, butter, So, we don’t say “some risks” to describe behavior> Through overcoming risk and challenges you will get new knowledge.
  3. You will open your eyes ~ You can broaden your vision.
  4. Former behavior ~ unclear response. Try using “former” in writing rather than speaking>
  5. Experiment> You will gain more experience.
  6. Open your eyes to the risk and adventurous> People that embrace challenges and adventures will gain more experience and knowledge.
  7. Gain many knowledge than before. Many is a quantifier and knowledge is uncountable> It will make you knowledgeable and interesting.
