Tell your mom you want to read : 射雕英雄传 because it’s about the fall of the Song Dynasty, and the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty.

Amy is my best friend.

She is my desk-mate:  that means we share a desk at school.

We play together.

Art is my favorite subject in school.

I like to paint the best.  I like to paint food.  I like to paint desserts, such as ice cream and cake.

My favorite color is purple because it’s pretty.

Purple symbolizes royalty.

I want to be an artist when I grow up.

I want to be an independent artist.

Chocolate is my favorite food.  I like dark chocolate the best.

My friend Alice likes purple too. She is smart and good at math.  We walk home together.   She likes to eat soupy noodles with vegetables.

Ana was the real heroine in Frozen.

My birthday is March 11, same as my friend Alice.  She said for me to come to her house and have a party.

I like reading about history, especially Chinese history.  I like reading about the Song Dynasty the best because there was a Northern Song and a Southern Song.  The Song Dynasty also fell to the Mongols.

Amy is short but taller than me.  She likes to wear black clothes.  She has a black coat and also wears Converse.  She has a pair of gray pants.

Alice has long hair that goes down to her chest. She likes to wear blue a lot.  She also wears Converse that she bought yesterday.

So my best friends all have the same shoes as me.

My mom taught me English.

Lily is my favorite English teacher because she teaches well, and she is pretty.

I think Helen is a pretty young girl who is almost 10 years old, and she is very shy.  She really likes wearing purple because that is her favorite color.  I can tell because her shirt is lavender, which is a shade of purple, and she is wearing a purple headband.  Her tights are a dark pink color that is very close to purple as well.  She is also wearing Converse sneakers that are a classic shoe that I also have.

Aileen is a much older girl who is also very pretty and not shy at all, unlike Helen.  She is wearing nude-color tights and long gray boots.  Even though she really loves purple, today she chose to wear a black dress with a sea-green vest over it.  She is wearing a gold fairy necklace that she bought last week at a Christmas market.  Her earrings are too big, according to Helen.  They look like Qing Dynasty antique earrings, even though she bought them on Taobao for a very inexpensive price.
