OpenF2F Class Notes 9th December (Celeste)***

Write a review of your first 3 months at SE. What did you notice about your skills? Write half of your story then be prepared to tell the rest in class. 

I have been writing in a/my diary for sixteen years. In fact, when I was in primary school, I had already wrote my first diary entry but it was just homework from school. I started my own diary from when I studied abroad in Japan. I went to Japan to study alone when I was 23 years old. I had a lot of firsts (native)/first experiences this year. It was the first time I left my country to go overseas, and it was the first time I was living alone. This meant that nobody could help me and I had to face any problems by myself and I must learn how to solve them. But I lived in a new country and everything was fresh for me. I tried to write down these fresh things and problems to record them in my memory, because I was very forgetful.

Diary 2

I don’t remember which day I started the diary in Japan. I need to check my diary 16 years ago, but I think it must begin in the first week. In fact , the diary was my only friend from beginning in Japan. I had no money to do other things so I was writing diary to talk with myself and I had a lot of time to write diary. Later, I found out/got a job after Japanese language school. I couldn’t write the diary for everyday because I become busy.

I don’t remember which day I started my diary in Japan. I need to check my diary from 16 years ago, but I think I started writing in it my first week in Japan. In fact, I didn’t have any friends, my diary was my only friend at that time. I had no money. I didn’t have a TV ,VHS, computer or even a radio, so I was writing in my diary to talk with myself because I had a lot of time and I was very lonely. Later, I found/got a part time job as a mover. I worked in the afternoons after my Japanese language classes. So, I couldn’t write in my diary everyday because I became busy.
