I have smoked over 20 years. It was the first time I smoked when I was 18 years old. I don’t remember what taste it was but I still remember the first cigarette made me dizzy and nauseated. I don’t know why I started smoking , it might be curiousness and imitation. Actually, I am not a heavy smoker, but I have never stopped smoking in 20 years. From 6 years ago, I just have smoked about three cigarettes a day, sometimes I didn’t smoke a whole day. When my children were born , I realized I must be careful of my and family’s health. Of course, nonsmoking is the best way for the health, but I think I can’t stop smoking completely yet. In China, it is too easy to get cigarettes and so many smokers around me such as my friends , they always entice me to smoke . Recently, there are a lot of nonsmoking areas are set in Shanghai , we can’t smoke in most of buildings like restaurants, cinemas, subways , and offices. And cigarettes became more and more expensive these years. Its are good changes for me. I hope that one day I am able to a nonsmoker , because it let me save my money and my life.
