Trump won the election
Trumped end up winning the election and became a new United States President, which was unexpected by lots of people. We call it another “Black Swan” affair after Brexit, which caused a string reflect in financial market.
In perspective from people who work on advertising, we can learn a lot from this campaign. Hillary spent a lot budget on media, asked top creative companies develop campaign strategies and images and almost all of the celebrities (key opinion leaders) supported her, but she still failed in this election. It was a classic promotion strategy, you had generous budget, media exposure and top KOLs. The only reason you lost was because of the “brand” or the “product” was not good enough. However good was your promotion, if your product was terrible, you could never acquire your customers.
