e.g. Can you adopt a child in China?

Orphan (n) – a child who is abandoned by its parents

e.g. Orphans live in an orphanage.

Orphanage (n) – a place where orphans live

e.g. Are there many orphanages in Shanghai?

Real-estate (n) – a name for all living places such as apartments, houses, etc

The rate at which the real-estate prices are increasing is unreasonable.

Nursing Home (n) – a place where old people live when they can no longer take care of themselves

e.g. Selma’s grandparents still do not live in a nursing home.

Corrections

In the last two years, some of my classmates gave birth to their second child.

Will you give birth to a brother for me?

I think I will be closer to a child I gave birth to, as opposed to a child I adopted.

So they can adopt some children a child.

The gap/distance between and the rich and the poor is more than severe. For example, the rich earn more than 20 times what the poor earn.

So many people want to get rich quickly by committing a crime.

The rate at which the real-estate prices are increasing is unreasonable.
