Mather-in-law’s birthday

This morning , we invited Chen ‘s parents to our home and cooked for them. Because Chen said that next Tuesday is his Mather’s birthday. But we maybe will busy and go home later. This is the first time, we invited them. Lots of times they were just as guide to show our new home’s decoration to other families.

In Shanghai, if you have a son, which means you should prepare a house for getting married. As you know, the house in Shanghai is very, very high, it is a very heavy pressure for them. So as a daughter-in-law, I think they should enjoy it.

There was a small moment I saw, just at our new home as well, my father-in-law wanted to have a relax, he was just laying in the sofa and watching big size TV comparing his.
Unfortunately,at that time we arrived at home, and then they said they had to go home. I felt so pity, they also can enjoy the new house. So today is a good opportunity.

My mother-in-law’s birthday

This morning, we invited Chen’s parents to our home and cooked for them because he said that next Tuesday was his Mother’s birthday.

But we will maybe be busy and get home late on that day.

So we decided to invite them today.

This was the first time we invited them. Lots of times they just acted as guides and showed our new home’s decoration to other families.

Cooking for someone is more personal and intimate than going out.

My inlaws bring up problems only in last resort after they really can’t find a solution by themselves.

If my mother is sick, we want to know with no delay and not some time later.

This is why we often eat with them, so we can keep an eye on them.
