An offline event of book
On the early day of this week, one official wechat account – xinshixiang launched a offline event , named “the challenge of throw books”.
In my opinion, it was an event marketing even though the propose of this event was to initiate more people to read books. The model of this event was as same as British’s campaign. Consumers could take the books go when they found books they liked. But when the event launched in Shanghai, there were lots of unexpected thing happened, such as lots of books were collected by cleaners and those books were not shared target audiences. So that this kind of event is not suitable of shanghai’s environment. The last one , I thought it was just a show to warm up this account for themselves.

An offline book event of book
In the early days of this week, one official wechat account named Xinshixiang launched an offline event named “The Big Book-Loss Challenge“.
In my opinion, it was a marketing event even though the purpose of this event/initiative was to encourage more people to read books.
The model of this event was the same as a British‘s campaign where consumers could take the books with them from public places when they found books they liked.
But when the event was launched in Shanghai, there were lots of unexpected thing that happened, such as lots of books being collected by cleaners and those books not being accessed by target audiences.
So that this kind of event is not suitable for Shanghai’s environment.
As for the last reason I don’t like it, I thought it was just a show to attract attention and create a media hype.
such as + something
I like funny things such as movie / big shows / Trump winning the election.
I don’t like being between a rock and a hard place.
