Influence

Chen bought two same English books named “influence” , which isn’t he wanted , it just was a mistake. Now that we took them, let them stay at our home, maybe it will be a challenge to learn English by reading. On the way came here,I was thinking what I want to talk today.
This is a topic I can try.

On my opinion, “influence “means that somebody’s sharing or emotion influence otherpeople , whatever it is positive or negative, as long as it happen with more one people. The day before yesterday, I argued with our colleagues because he didn’t want to do complex tech things, so he wanted me to reject client needs. But the needs was confirmed from client. He started to speak loudly and surely it influenced me. So that’s why we argued. Looked it back, I thought it was cause of influence. After that , my boss shared with me that even though other people influence me , I should learn how to control. Maybe this is the meaning of old saying is that to presuade Sb by courtesy and politeness. I need to learn.

Edit:

Influence

Chen accidentally bought two copies of a book in English named “Influence”. Since we had them, we thought why not keep them, as they might end up 1. helping us with / 2. challenging us to improve our English reading. On the way here, I was thinking what I wanted to talk about today.

This is a topic I can try.

In my opinion, “the power of influence” means somebody’s ability to change or impact others, whether it is positive or negative, as long as it happens between more than one person. The day before yesterday, I got in an argument with one of my colleagues because he didn’t want to do complex tech things, and he wanted me to ignore our clients’ needs. (However, the client confirmed their requirements.) My colleague raised his voice at me and before too long we were in the middle of a very heated conversation.  Looking back on it now / In hindsight, I think this was a case / an instance of influence. After this incident, my boss told me that even though other people try to influence me, I should learn how to prevent them from doing it. Maybe this is the meaning of the old saying that somebody is best persuaded by courtesy and politeness. I need to learn.
