window                                                       = an opening in a wall – literal

window of opportunity                          = a limited period of time during which something may be possible –                                                                                             figurative (there is no actual window)

bridge   (over water)                                                          = an actual bridge (literal)

bridge    (between countries)                                          = there is no real bridge (figurative)

to exaggerate =  to present reality in a larger-than-life way

E.g.
Q: Are you tired?
A: I’m literally dead.

Q: Can you lend me some money?
A: I’m literally broke.

The Banff film festival

This year is the third year, we will go to Banff film festival. There are lots different kind of unusual sports you can see from the festival. Such as skiing , skydiving, rock climbing, canoeing, etc. These athletes are very professional and their sport are their careers.

This afternoon , we bought 6 tickets , 3 sessions. Last year , we just saw 1 session , after that we wanted to see more, but didn’t bay the ticket. So that’s way we bought 6 tickets this year. There are two reasons we love it, one is that we would like to try to these sports, but we did n’t have find the opportunity. Another one is to complete these actions is very hard , it is not only trainings enjoy but also tests the willpower. Using this opportunity,maybe we can learn different attitude to enjoy the life, also learn different thinking to plan our life.

The second reason is maybe by trying these sports we can learn a different attitude to enjoy life and learn a different way of thinking to plan our life.
