Theme park – an amusement park, a park with a theme (entertainment)

e.g. Disneyland is a theme park

roller coaster  – a very exciting amusement park ride

e.g. Liam always screams on roller coasters. Tanya is scared of them.

haunted house – a house that is supposed to be “haunted”, it’s very scare inside

e.g. Liam says that a lot of girls stay very cool on a roller coaster, but then start screaming when they go into the haunted house.

go faster – when something increases in speed

e.g. Suddenly the roller coaster went faster.

couple – two people who are together (in love)

e.g. On Valentine’s day, a lot of couples do something together.

dress up – putting on something (special)

e.g. When you get ready for an event, you usually have to dress up.

a commando –  特ç§å…µ – a commando is a soldier who does special operations

e.g. Liam is going as a commando for Halloween.

It’s almost Halloween. Halloween is dedicated to remember the dead. There are a lot of Halloween-themed activities in a lot of malls, which are there to attract people’s desire to consume. Halloween is a holiday in the West. However, with the development of the global economy, more and more Chinese regard it as a kind of festival.
Actually, there is a traditional festival that is called Hungry Ghost Festival. It is similar to Halloween.
