Honestly, I don’t think that there will be fewer cars in use than there are today in twenty years.
Admittedly, as the air pollution is becoming more and more serious because of cars. Some countries are making pollicies to limit the number of using cars.
what’s more, most of cars use petro as energy supplier. but the the price of oil is becoming more and more expensive, it is about ten times more than it was several years ago.
cosidering those situations, in twenty years, maybe there will be fewer cars in use than there are today.
However, cars play an important role in our daily life, I can’t image the world without cars.
cars have been exiting for more 100 hundred years, and there is no evidence that it will be taken place by some other kinds of transportation tools.
In advanced countries, because of covinent public bus or subways, and people’s concious about protecting enviornment, there may be fewer cars in use in twenty years. nevertheless, in most advancing counties, the industry of making auto vehicles is just beginning, and people in these counties are looking forward to own a car. how can we say there will be fewer cars in use in  twenty years in these counties.
considering the high price and the oic crisis may limit the developing fo using cars, people now are researching some kinds of new energy to take the oil’s place. such as bettery, solar energy and so on.
All in all, there is no enough evidence to make me believe that there will be fewer cars in use than there are today in twenty years.

Honestly, I don’t think that there will be fewer cars in use in twenty years than there are today.  Admittedly, air pollution is becoming more and more serious because of cars, so some countries are making policies to limit the number of cars. What’s more, most cars use oil, but it is becoming more and more expensive, being sold today for about ten times more than it was several years ago. Considering this situation, in twenty years, maybe there will be fewer cars in use than there are today.
However, cars play an important role in our daily lives, so I can’t image the world without them. Cars have existed for more than 100 years, and there is no evidence that it will be replaced by some other means of transportation.
In advanced countries, because of convenient public transportation, and people’s consciousness about environmental protection, there may be fewer cars in use in twenty years. Nevertheless, in most developing counties, the auto vehicle industry is just beginning, and people are looking forward to own a car. How can we say there will be fewer cars in use in  twenty years in these counties?
High prices and the fact that oil isn’t a renewable energy source, may also limit the development of the car industry. To solve those problems, people are now developing new renewable kinds of energy to replace oil, such as batteries, solar energy and so on. All in all, there is not enough evidence to make me believe that there will be fewer cars in use than there are today in twenty years.
