Writing exercise

Original:

On the way to school I was thinking about a topic, what I would like to write about. In the end I decided to write about “Happy hours” in our residence, which are organized by residence team almost every month. Last time they prepared for us a lesson “How to make Chinese dumplings” and because I am a big fan of these dumplings, I also attended it. I was so excited for learning making dumplings from the beginning, but in the end I was a little bit disappointed. Almost everything was prepared, even dough. We had to fill the prepared dough by vegetable and meat mixture and put it into hot water. Even though we didn’t make “real” dumplings, we have had a very great time there. It was a good opportunity to meet all our neighbors and slop with them. Just yesterday we got an invitation for next “happy hours” on Wednesday with the theme “Bamboo painting class by Master Ye”. I’m looking forward to experience something new again.

On the way to school I was thinking about a topic I would like to write about. In the end I decided to write about “Happy hours” in our residence, which are organized by the residence team almost every month. Last time they organized a lesson  on how to make Chinese dumplings and, because I am a big fan of dumplings, I attended it. I was very excited to learn how to make dumplings from scratch, but in the end I was a little bit disappointed. Almost everything was prepared before the class, even the dough. We had to fill the prepared dough with vegetable and meat mixtures and put them into hot water. Even though we didn’t make “real” dumplings, we had a very great time there. It was a good opportunity to meet all our neighbors and get to know them. Just yesterday we got an invitation for the next happy hour, which will be on Wednesday and will include a bamboo painting class by Master Ye. I’m looking forward to experience something new again.
