Vocabulary

chilly – a little cold

eg: Shanghai is really chilly in the winter, but never freezing.

muggy – hot and humid

eg: Thailand is so muggy and hot.

conditions (of weather) – the specific parts of weather, rain, snow, humidity…

eg: The temperature is not bad, but the conditions are uncomfortable.

Yesterday afternoon, I want to the Shanghai exhibition center to attend the Shanghai Fashion Week with my friend. The moment in our of the subway, I was afraid I would be burned if I was walking on the street one minute longer. I forgot to put something on my face when I left the home. And I felt that my face was browned by the sun. Oh, what a changeable weather in Shanghai. You know, in Shanghai, yesterday the weather was misty rain,today is sunny and rapid cooling of tomorrow. You never know the weather what will be happen in next second.

Correction –

Yesterday afternoon, I went to the Shanghai exhibition center to attend Shanghai Fashion Week with my friend. The moment we got out of the subway, I was afraid I would get sunburned if I was walking on the street one minute longer. I forgot to put sunscreen on my face when I left home. And I felt like I was getting tanned already. Oh, what fickle weather in Shanghai. You know, in Shanghai, yesterday the weather was misty rain,today it is sunny and tomorrow it could be chilly again. You never know what the weather will be like in the next second.
