in some companies you have to work for 1 year before you can have any vacation time.

In Europe people really like to go on vacation.
In summer people are usually on their vacation.

In China people take all their vacation time. 10 days is not much.
maybe in other countries 4 day work weeks will become popular but not in China.
In China bosses like 996 / Chinese bosses are workaholics

In some companies after the Covid they have to do more work to catch up because the boss thinks you stayed at home for 2 months.

There is someone in my company, he is new here but he worked in Alibaba before so he really prefers 996. / he is used to working 996.
