Vocabulary

fast fashion – when clothes are manufactured and sold very quickly

ex. Zara and H&M are huge fast fashion giants.

ex. Fast fashion is responsible for lots of environmental, social and ethical problems.

disposable – to be thrown away after use

ex. disposable fashion = fast fashion

ex. disposable bags

production time – how long it takes to make something

ex. We expect the production time to be under 2 weeks.

physically disabled/adj – when a part of your body (ex. arm/legs) have a loss of function

ex. She is unable to work quickly because she is physically disabled.

plagiarism – to copy someone’s work and say it’s your own

ex. If you are guilty of plagiarism you may have to pay a lot of money.

Fast design maybe 12 days and many workers they work in the factories making clothes and they have 3 pounds per hr.

Fast fashion is when clothes are made very quickly, in about 12 days. Many workers working in the factories are only paid 3 pounds per hour. 

They will buy it with the expectation of replacing it and they will wear something once or twice or maybe never.
