relevance (noun) – connected or appropriate (usually in context or place)
These facts have no relevance to us in our modern lives.
relative (noun) – people to whom you are connected by a familial link
My relatives live far away from here
quarantine (noun) – a place where people who have been exposed to a virus are kept
They put several people in quarantine because they had been near someone with COVID
lockdown (noun) – a state of isolation when nobody is allowed to leave
The whole building has been under lockdown for several weeks
vital (adj) – absolutely necessary / the most important
Getting a good job is vital if you want to have a good income
revitalize (verb) – to give something the energy it needs
A cup of coffee can revitalize you in the afternoon
subtitute (noun) – a replacement
Coffee is not a substitute for water
thermos – a container to keep something’s temperature
Put hot water in a thermos to keep it warm
thermos mug – a cup that acts as a thermos
I like to take a thermos mug to work with me
Grammar
hope – for things to happen in the future. There is a reasonable chance that it can happen.

wish – for things that you do not have now. It is not possible that it can happen now.
I wish I could be rich.
