Vocabulary
stature – two meanings
1. importance or reputation gained by ability or achievement
2. a person’s height
He is a man of great stature in the community (this is about his achievement).
A man of such stature can’t fit through the door (this is about his height)
set stock in – to have faith or confidence in someone / something
I set great stock in your ability as a leader.
conduct – to control or run something
It’s your turn to conduct the meeting.
He conducts his life well.
virtues – good qualities
Patience is a virtue
