The first one, for legal and compliance issues, you need to be familiar with the local government or companies’ policies, in order to have a good partnership with them, for example the global company can’t sign the contract with local companies directly. They need to find an agency who has the qualifications to do that.

Even as global company, they still need to hire local employees because they are the ones familiar with the local market and culture and understand customers’ needs and preferences. Also they have more information and resources and can convert them into potential business clients.

I think the attitude is more important because a lot of things come with a positive attitude. Because you can improve your abilities, accumulate your work experience, as long as you have the right attitude. But if you don’t have the right attitude, it’s easy for someone to give up when they are faced with challenges.

First you need to know the employees concerns, for example, it’s related to performance issue or related to personal issue. Sometimes you need small rewards for them to give them confidence. And also, you can communicate with them further to better understand them and their situations.

I definitely want to advance in my career because I want to acquire more knowledge and learn more theories and network with people from different industries to view things from different perspectives. And we can collaborate and help each other in our work. I also want to get more experience with my work because I work closely with people from different companies and industries. I don’t want to stay in my comfort zone. I want a new challenge and complete a degree in English.
