Yesterday I watched a video which was about China town, from the video, you could know lots of stories for the China town including its history, its meaning to the Chinese America and its design. From the beginning, China town was only a settlement area for the Chinese who came to San Francisco to pan for gold, during that time, China town was a filthy place to the American, and Chinese could not get the respective. But after sometime, local people found that Chinese can bring the business to the city, so they gradually change their mind. In the meantime, an earthquake ripped the city, China town ruined thoroughly, the local Americans were afraid that Chinese people would abandon the city, so local government gave a new location to rebuild the China town, they invited white architect to design and build the town, and the white architect only could make it base on their imagination, for example, curve eave, pagoda style roof and colorful facades. As a Chinese, we all knew that could not stand for Chinese culture, but on the other hand, it also represented China in the eyes of foreigners，therefore, it has also become a concept of theme park, leading other cities to follow. Although the Chinese people have been appreciated to some extent, they were still the targets of attacks whenever they encounter some special events, like, covid19, and Chinatown was naturally the main target of the attackers. When can we live in peace without racism in the world?

The white architect only could make it based on their imagination, for example, curved eaves, pagoda style roofs and colorful facades. As a Chinese person, we all knew that could not stand for / represent Chinese culture, but on the other hand, it also represented China in the eyes of foreigners，therefore, it has also became like a theme park, leading other cities to follow.
