Today I have been doing my homework – started in the past and it’s continuing now

I went to school and I learned many things. = I went to school with me learning many things.

My mum went out and dad went with her = My mum went out with my dad going out with her.

Vocabulary

gap – a hole between 2 things

whistle / whistling sound – the high sound we make with our mouth when we blow

At night, MB watches TV but the TV shows the man cooks the meat so MB is hungry and when he tastes the popcorn, he feels the popcorn is yummy. Although he tries to put the popcorn in his mouth, and he bites the popcorn and he isn’t in pain at first but his tooth is taken out so MB is very surprised. However, there is a gap between his teeth and it can make a whistling sound. He uses the glue to stick the tooth in his mouth but he sticks the tooth on his finger so he shakes it and pulls it but his tooth can’t come off.
