We meet again

The sun was peeking through the clouds while the breeze ruffled James’ dark hair. His electric green eyes reflected the glint of glass on his plane, The Comet. He had lost his parents when he was 5 years old due to the fact that his brother betrayed the British and joined the Germans, making James think that he couldn’t trust anyone. Despite his crewmates enthusiasm for making friends with him, James rarely talks to them except in dogfights. He preferred to work alone. Suddenly a loud noise pulled / jolted him back to reality. It was the announcement through the speakers “may James, F, A, and I climb into the planes immediately?” The robotic voice of their leader rang through the spacious grounds. “The Germans are coming for an attack!”. James rubbed his hands together, unable to hold back a grin. He loved a dogfight as every enemy he shoots down reminded him of his brother Alex. Once they climbed into their planes, they took off in unison with a roar of their engines. Slowly the 4 planes approached the enemies. James stared at the enemy in front of him who looked like James. No, he muttered to himself. That couldn’t be him! The enemy turned his head, when their eyes locked, aware of the explosions and cries below them, they both knew it was time to battle, brother versus brother.
