My favourite movie
I am a big fan of watching movies and varies dramas, especially thriller and sci-fi, and i frequently watch movies in my spare time. When i was in China, i would like to watch movies in cinema instead of at home.
“The shawshank Redemption” is my favourite film in 500 movies which i have watched so far including Chinese and English films. The film brought me deeply impressions, it described a brave man named Andy who was saved by himself and how he did it step and step, actually he was innocent, but sentenced whole life to stay in prison, before that he was a very successful bank supervisor and had a pretty beautiful wife, unfortunately his wife cheated on him, after getting drunk, he was determined to killing them, but when he woke up, he was taken into to jail and was sentenced, everyone thought he was guilty and ensured he murdered victims except himself.
From the first day , he was ever dedicated to escaping, making a entire plan never told others even his best friend. After 19 years he was finally free in another new identity and made the prison president arrested who was very got a lot of fortune and wealth from Andy’ assistance. Several years later , Red whose Andy’s best friend was allowed to leave, it was very boring and always wanted to go back jail for him, he was able to fit into the society, but because of his promise to Andy, he decided to meet his best friend and restarted his life.
I got great power and strength from this film, particularly about hope and never give up, my deepest line is about hope “Remember, Red, hope is good thing, maybe the best of things. And no good thing ever dies.” Andy talked to Red sincerely. He did it and proved it that if you never gave up, hope was never disappeared.
Even though I have seen nearly 10 times this film, i still moved every time. By the way my favourite Chinese film is ”To Live”, it’s also a great film and talked about a person’s whole suffering life. They are my recommendation films for my friends.
