I asked the quotations from many forwarding companies and I choose the DHL to be the forwarder. DHL is an international company and it has many businesses like express and container shipping and train and sea. The first thing is to fix the problems of shipment and second thing was, after one week’s holidays the store was out of stock so the merchandising team gave us a really big order so me and my warehouse work together to work out the plan of outbound. The first one is regarding the imports and the next one is the allocation to stores and the third thing start from this April we are going to combine the warehouses and the suppliers so we have to start the RFP.

The reason of this old flow is because the foreign people thought china is under HK and HK is the center of asia pacific. The sales in Singapore cannot compare the sales in China. There’s 3 aspects need to be changed. The first one is the system operation, and the IT people will create a new system flow… the way how I move the goods from Italy to SH … in the following few weeks I’m going to have meetings with IT to design the process. I provide them with my ideas and they’re going to make it into reality. We have to resign the contract with the supplies because in the past it was HK to pay all the bills.
