Speaking exercise
I started working there in last week. I think the most difference about this work is that it is more intense than before / the difference is it is more intense. They gave me a short induction, I think the time is around 30 minutes. I met with every colleagues in the company. It’s a small company (pr) so we have only 20 colleagues. And then in the first week our global team arranged some induction for me but I try to sort out the complex information and try to find everyone’s responsibility in the structure especially in Italy, our HQ, i had a lot of catch up with them but I can’t remember their face, and name, you know the italy name always longer than regular English name. I had worked with Italy people in my last 2 jobs, but it’s not so close communication before.
I started working there in last week / I have been working there since last week. I think the difference is it is more intense / I think it’s relatively intense (compared to before / compared to my last job). They gave me a short induction lasting / for around 30 minutes. I only met with 20 colleauges because it’s a small company. And then our global team arranged some inductions for me, and until now I‘m still trying to sort out the complex information, like their name, title, and responsibilities, and the reason is I can’t remember their face or name because they’re from Italy, which is where our HQ is, i had a lot of catch up with them but I can’t remember their face, and name, you know the italy name always longer than regular English name. I had worked with Italy people in my last 2 jobs, but it’s not so close communication before.
