Today we focused on:
talked a lot about starting sentences with SVO (subject verb object) and THEN adding details like “for a long time” or “in 30 minutes”
Vocabulary
relatives – everyone in your family
immediate family – kids, partner (maybe parents)
extended relatives – everyone else (cousins, aunties / uncles…etc)
eg. I’m staying with my immediate family but I’m visiting my extended relatives
I feel familiar about them – it’s really nice to see them again / seeing them makes me reminisce about my childhoodÂ
cozy – warm (physically comfortable)
eg. sitting by the fire is really cozy
reminisce – to remember / talk about / think about the past
eg. over the last few days I’ve been reminiscing about my childhood

side effects – problems you feel related to taking medicine
eg. I had some side effects after the first shot
