Writing exercise

Dear Annette, Dear Mario,
From the beginning of the year till now BYD complained to us about the defective CWA400 for a total amount  of 190,000 CNY (please see below);
You already agreed to pay for 48,350 CNY which is definitely (surely / very / certainly) good, but it is not enough.

You know, whatever is the claimed issue BYD just remove 1,500 CNY per defective pump from the payment to us (which is the standard way for Chinese Customers) and with this Customer we have very limited negotiation power; what’s more,  If there is no agreement between BYD Quality and Pierburg Quality, Sales cannot help to get the money back as / because / and it will be removed from normal payments
Therefore / so that we are almost obliged to accept the cost.

Also / Furthermore / And agreement between Quality departments are far away if we are not able to sustain our reasons, like for the pumps exposed to sulfur:
For about 70% of the defective pumps our internal investigations show that the pumps were exposed to sulfur and this makes the pump stop to working (attached one of the report);
From Customer point of view this explanation is not acceptable. BYD is expecting that supplier cooperate with Customer to understand the root cause (korz) and, anyhow, supplier should develop some corrective actions/improvements to solve the issue.

So, I kindly ask to sustain the cost of such quality issues because this is your business.
Let me remind you that the IC price gives to PMP  5% of the production cost and that is just enough to cover transportation, import duty, handling, delivery to Customer and warehouse rent at Customer side.
We also organize visual check after receiving your goods to prevent issues.
We have no margin to cover (cahhver) the quality issues (for which we are not responsible).
