constant soundtrack
subconsciously aware of your breath at all times throughout the practice
yoga is a symphony of instruments, with your attentive mind as the conductor, the breath as the constant drum beat, forming the background of your practice, and each part of the body being it’s own instrument, moving in unison.
The breath keeps the tempo, the rhythm, and forms the foundation of the music. Without it there is chaos and disorder. So constant attention on inhaling and exhaling is needed throughout yoga practice as a way to keep the rhythm and structure.
