6 years ago when I was with Novartis, I was part of an HR project which was a survey on competitors and a research firm that was involved in the project, gave details on the success and uniqueness of Pfizer HR mgmt. From this experience, Pfizer as a strong brand was firmly in my mind. I remember at one point, Novartis ran an EVP to try to compete with Pfizer’s brand power, but even after such an expensive campaign, clients continued to choose Pfizer over Novartis. After this, I continued to hear positive things about the company and obviously wanted to be part of it. So all of this added up to me wanting to move on from Novartis.

While I was working at Zhejiang FESCO, my role was a business one, in that I was responsible for bringing business and needed to reach a sales target every month. I was the top sales for 2 years running before leaving the company. As a result of experiencing the pressures of sales and in dealing with clients first hand, and needing to understand them very well, I understand business people more than other candidates. Secondly I grew up with a mature personality which helps when I need to deal with complicated issues and when the situation requires superior communication skills. Thirdly I am a 6-year Pfizer veteran, and I understand and feel proud of the Pfizer culture. I have an in-depth understanding of Pfizer’s process, and I feel that the combination of my unique experience and my strong character, makes me a great candidate for this position.

I am writing to you to offer my feedback on BP in accordance with the appraisal process for 2016.

Firstly, I would just like to start out by saying how much I have enjoyed working with BP over the past 1 year during her role as HR Associate Director at the Dalian Office.

I have found BP to be very knowledgable and have a great amount of expertise regarding HR in general. She consistently presents a positive and encouraging attitude to those around her, and continuously offers her support where possible, which is a testament to her character and work ethic. She offers a great connection between HR and the business in terms of HR solutions and I believe that she will continue to be a key part of this company moving forward.
