Vocabulary
Swell (v): 1-Â (especially of a part of the body) become larger or rounder in size, typically as a result of an accumulation of fluid after getting hit, hurt or after a surgery. (Past Participle: swollen)
E.g.: I didn’t get swollen after my surgery.
Stitch (n): 1- one in-and-out movement of a threaded needle. 2- ç¼
E.g.:Â I didn’t need to get any stitches when I removed my wisdom teeth.
Budget (n): 1- the amount of money that a person or organization can / wants to spend on a particular purpose
E.g.:Â He’s been trying to live on a budget of less than $1,500 a month.
Photography (n): 1-Â the art or practice of taking and processing photos.
E.g.: He is very interested in photography and actually very good at it..
Neutral (n): 1- not helping or supporting either side in a conflict, disagreement, etc.; impartial. 2- having no strongly marked characteristics or features.
E.g.: He chose to remain neutral and not get involved in their fight.
E.g.:Â She prefers wearing neutral colors.
Private (n): 1- belonging to or for the use of one particular person or group of people only.
E.g.:Â At work he was always very serious, but in his private life, he was actually very funny and relaxed.
Polite (n): 1- having or showing behavior that is respectful and considerate of other people.
E.g.: She is a very nice and polite person.
Secret Santa (n): 1-Â is a Western Christmas tradition in which members of a group or community are randomly assigned a person to whom they anonymously give a gift.
E.g.: We played a game of Secret Santa at the Christmas party.
