Homework: come up with one pair of antonyms and one pair of synonyms.

synonym = a word which has a similar meaning to another word
E.g. big = huge, fast = rapid, children = offspring, speed = velocity

antonym = a word that has the opposite meaning of another
E.g. short =/= long, exciting =/= boring

The train was traveling at a speed of 300 km/h.
The speed of the car was 100 km/h.
I can walk at a speed of 10 km/h.

Yesterday I got up at 11 o’clock then after one hour I ate lunch. Then I watch TV for 20 minutes. After that, took the bus to the mall. I wanted to buy some new clothes. I buy the T-shirt, this color is white. Then I ate dinner with my friend. Later, I go to the home. I sleep at 12 pm.

I bought a white T-shirt. Then, about 6pm I had dinner with my friend. At about 9pm, I went home. I went to sleep around midnight.

Tomorrow I get up at 9am and have breakfast then exercise (x – r – size) at home.
Tomorrow I will get up at 9am and I will have breakfast. Then I will exercise (x – r – size) for one hour at home. Around noon, I will take a bus to Jing’an where I will have an English class.

12am = midnight
12pm = noon (middle of the day)
