pickle (V.) – to pickle something means, to ferment it, so that it is preserved

eg: You can preserve those cucumbers if you pickle  (V.) them. Then you can call them pickles. (N.)

kimchi – kimchi is korean traditional food, it tastes like pickled vegetables, but it’s so spicy, the way to make kimchi is you pickle vegetable and then preserved some while. – kimchi is korean food, it is pickled spicy (ADJ) vegetables. the way to make kimchi is you pickle vegetables and keep it in the fermented juices.
