Vocabulary

match – when two things can look good together, based on color, style, size…

eg: Those shoes match your belt.

eg: Brown shoes don’t match a black belt.

mismatch – a bad match, those things don’t look good together

eg: Your socks are mismatched.  (Two different socks)

eg: Your gloves are mismatched.

eg: Your shirt and pants are mismatched.

accessory – little things you can wear or put on, to add style, like rings, necklaces

eg: I don’t really like wearing accessories.

complete the outfit – when you add a certain thing to an outfit, it really makes it look great or perfect.

eg: This hat really completes the outfit.
