You mean, it fell apart, or got worn out?

chore – a job you probably don’t wanna do, like housework

eg: I was doing chores this morning, I did laundry and washed the dishes.

eg: Oh, I don’t wanna go to Suzhou just for the doctor’s appointment. That is such a chore to get to his office.

eg: No, hiking is a chore for me.

eg: Cooking breakfast is a chore.

Specialist (N.) – a professional person who works on a very specific part of their job.

eg: I had a problem with my left eye. I went to 10 different doctors and none of them could figure it out. So the last doctor referred me to an eye specialist. That doctor only works on problems with the left eye.

eg: I don’t need a specialist doctor to do a physical.

thread – string for clothes

eg: You should cut off that loose thread.

eg: If you cut the threads, then more of them will come out.
