Vocabulary

Fridge – short for Refridgerator

eg: She kept the crab in the fridge.

Freezer – part of the fridge, that freezes things

eg: Get some ice out of the freezer.

freeze – to make something below 0 degrees.

eg: Freeze the water to make some ice cubes.

preserve – keep it the same, or keep it fresh

eg: The marinade, will preserve the meat a little longer.

eg: Sugar will preserve bread for a long time, but many people don’t like it.

Fresh Water – not the SEA, not salt water

eg: Lakes, rivers and some seas are fresh water.

eg: This is a table and we are in Jing an.

eg: I like coffee but I don’t want any now.

eg: I have to go to the gym but I have something to do.

1.5 Parts:     THAT, WHICH, WHO, WHERE…

I have a friend.    She likes shopping.

I have a friend that likes shopping.

I have a friend who likes shopping.

I know a place.   That place is beautiful.

eg: I know a place where it’s so beautiful.

I have a teacher.    My teacher is very handsome.

eg: I have a teacher who is very handsome.

I had a job.    The job was very boring.

eg: I had a job which was very boring.

I went to school.      The school was so expensive.

eg: I went to a school that was so expensive.
