follow through – finish a plan or action

bribe – pay someone to let you break the rules
eg: Elinda tried to bribe me to finish class early, but I wouldn’t do it.
back out – cancel, give up, quit
eg: He agreed to do it, but then he backed out.
throw it on – put on clothes quickly without thinking
eg: I need to throw on a jacket
crayfish/ crawfish/ crawdad – xiaolongxia
eg: I have never eaten crawfish.
reliable – to trust that someone will do something
eg: He said he will clean the kitchen, but I don’t think he will, because he’s not reliable.
mistress – a husband’s girlfriend
eg: He bought his mistress many gifts.
mutual – both sides agree or benefit
eg: China and Pakistan have a mutual interest in the project.
