a spice – something used to add flavor to food, NOT SPICY! Salt, Pepper, Herbs
eg: Where can we put all these small jars of spices?

Tony’s Chilli Recipe:
1lb (or 2 KG) of Ground Beef
One Small white onion
One Clove of Garlic
2 Spicy Red Chillis
One Can of Red or Black Beans
2 Peeled Tomatoes, cut in 1/4(one fourth) (Cut in fourths)
1 small can Tomato Paste
One Tablespoon (big spoon) of Chilli Powder (Cayenne Pepper)
3/4 Teaspoon (small spoon) of Cumin
1/4 teaspoon of Salt
1 Tablespoon of Pepper
1 Box of Saltine Crackers (Break and put on top of chilli in a bowl)
Directions:
Brown the Ground beef
Drain the fat ( if necessary )
Dice the Onion and Garlic and Chillis
Add the Onion, Garlic, Just before the beef is brown.
Add the peeled tomatoes and tomato Paste
Add water (if necessary)
- Heat to boiling, reduce heat to low.
- Cover and simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in beans.
- Heat to boiling, reduce heat to low.
- Simmer uncovered about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until desired thickness
