Vocabulary

to pass (on something) – to politely refuse, or say no. because you can not/ don’t have time

eg: I had to pass on dinner, because I have to work overtime.    She passed because she had to work or she didn’t have time.

It was a normal day

I wanted to have seafood for dinner, but Angela said NO!

There was a misunderstanding

There wasn’t a misunderstanding because she just thinks the bus is more comfortable.

However, I gave her directions for coming from the subway, so she was a little confused.

Are you a good cook (N.)    No, I’m not a good cook.

Do you cook (V.) well?      No I don’t cook well.

Are you a  good worker?    Yes, I’m a good worker.

Do you work well with other people?  Yes I work well with other people, I’m very patient and friendly.

Are you a good mother?   I don’t have children.

Are you a good mother?    Yes I’m a good mother

Do you mother well? (Strange question????)   (Do not use)
