scale – a device used to weigh things

eg: Every morning I weigh myself on the scale in my bathroom.

drop – to let go of, or lose(weight)

eg: I dropped one kilo last week.

skinny – thin or not fat, slim

eg: Did you lose weight, you look skinnier.

fantasizing – imagining that something is real in your mind

eg: I’m fantasizing about food, because I haven’t eaten dinner in two weeks.

put on – to add or have more of

eg: I put on about 10 kilos

discipline – control that is gained by requiring that rules or orders be obeyed and punishing bad behavior

eg: Yoga and Kung Fu can teach self-discipline.

eg: The teacher had to discipline the student, because he was being bad in class.

eg: When I was young I could not discipline (V.) myself.  (punish myself???)

eg: When I was young I did not have a lot of self-discipline. (N.)

cardio – often used as a short word for (cardiovascular) exercise

eg: My boyfriend thinks I should do cardio, but I have my own idea.

stubborn – not wanting to change (especially your mind)

eg: Everyone is a little stubborn.
