mulled wine – hot red wine with spices.

eg: We made mulled wine last night.

distract V. – make you not pay attention to something

eg: I wanted to watch the movie, but that crying baby distracted me.

eg: I don’t want to distract you while you’re working.

ornament – a small thing added, only for decoration.

eg: Our family has a tradition, that every year we get a new ornament for the Christmas tree.

accessories – small things added to clothes or devices.

eg: I don’t like to wear a lot of accessories.

eg: There is a cool accessory for your iphone, it makes the camera better.

custom – a special and unique change made to something

eg: I made some custom converse shoes.

pregnancy N. – the time that a woman is pregnant

eg: Her pregnancy was 11 months long. It was very unusual.

abortion N. – a medical procedure, when you don’t want to keep the baby.

eg: She had an abortion because she didn’t want to marry the guy.

eg: She will probably get an abortion.

eg: She didn’t wanna take pill.

divorced ADJ. – not married anymore

eg: They got divorced.

birth control – usually some medicine, pills, that women take so they don’t get pregnant.

eg: She wasn’t on birth control.

eg: There are many kinds of birth control. It’s not only pills.
