I’m allergic to long-haired cats. If I pet the cat, then touch my face, my eyes and nose will be itchy.

She’s allergic to flour, if she eats flour she will get sick.


V.I.P. – very important person

eg: I’m not a VIP, so I guess I’m not important, haha.

scroll – to move an internet page up or down.

eg: Can you go down, you scrolled up too far.

rip – to damage some cloth or soft material, usually by pulling too hard

eg: Some sharp stuff might snag the fabric and rip it

snag – a kind of grab, to catch and tear (something) on something sharp

eg: I snagged my sweater on something.

fold – to bend something and lay it on itself

eg: Can you help me fold the paper into a square?

jerk – a rude person, says mean things, does mean things

eg: You are being a jerk now.

turn into – become or change into something else.

eg: He was nice, but he turned into a jerk later.

eg: Day always turns into night.

dough – uncooked bread

doughnut – a sweet baked food, made from dough, and has a hole in the middle
